1. What does Angel Senior Transitions do?
We help seniors and their families navigate the downsizing and moving process with care. From sorting belongings to coordinating moves and setting up the new home, we handle the details so you can focus on your loved one.
2. Do you only help with moving into assisted living?
Not at all. We assist with moves into independent living, assisted living, smaller homes, internal moves from one unit to another, or even moving in with family. Every situation is unique, and we tailor our services to fit your needs.
3. How is your service different from a regular moving company?
We specialize in working with seniors. That means we go beyond moving boxes — we provide patient support, help with decision-making, organize belongings, and make the new home feel comfortable and familiar.
4. What areas do you serve?
We currently are focused on Greater Nashville. If you’re outside this area, give us a call and we’ll see how we can help.
5. Can you help us decide what to keep, donate, or sell?
Yes. We walk families through the process of sorting belongings, respecting sentimental items, and offering options for donation, estate sales, or storage.
6. How involved do we as family members need to be?
That’s up to you. Some families want to be very hands-on, while others prefer us to take the lead. We’re flexible and can adjust based on your level of involvement.
7. Do you provide packing materials and moving trucks?
Yes, When we are hired to do a full pack and unpack, we come equipped with reusable boxes, packing materials, and our own team takes care of everything. Our goal is to simplify everything from start to finish.
8. How long does the process usually take?
Every situation is different, but most downsizing and moving projects take anywhere from 1 day to a few weeks depending on the size of the home, how much sorting is needed, and your specific timeline and needs. We will determine the timeline when we meet for the FREE consultation.
9. What if my parent is resistant to moving?
This is very common. We specialize in patience, compassion, and open conversations to help ease the transition. Often, having a neutral third party like us helps reduce stress and tension.
10. How much does your service cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the project and the level of support you need. We’re happy to provide a free consultation and estimate so there are no surprises.
11. Do you offer help after the move?
Yes. We can help unpack, arrange furniture, and set up the new home so it feels comfortable right away. We also check in afterward to ensure the transition went smoothly.
